The Temple of The Presence Chicago Altar Group is an outpost of The Temple of The Presence, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona.

We believe in the Path to the Ascension and that this can be pursued by all. By expressing more of the Perfection of God in our worlds, through harmonious thought and feeling and by becoming sensitive to and acting upon the Will of God, our Higher Self or Holy Christ Presence can descend and be more present on earth through us.

Here in the Chicago area, we meet regularly on Saturday mornings. During the active part of our Service, similar to mantras or prayers, we use the Power of the Spoken Word in Decrees, Affirmations and Invocations. Decrees act on all planes of consciousness, as a clearing and healing agent, or as forgiveness, commanding perfection as held in higher planes of consciousness, or in the mind of God. We use these Decrees as our Service to Life and to prepare to receive the Ascended Masters' Instruction and Radiation through their Discourses and Dictations, as delivered through the Anointed Representatives, Monroe Julius Shearer and Carolyn Louise Shearer. These sessions are broadcast live over the Internet from Tucson in streaming audio and video through Helicon Broadcasting™. Replays are also available for a limited time.
